Susan Smith, Fall 1998. Her research project was "Gravity and magnetic investigation of the Springerville volcanic field, Arizona". She analyzed gravity and magnetic data to determine the subsurface structures that may have influenced the location of the volcanic field. The results of her study were presented at the North-Central GSA meeting in Champaign, Illinois, March, 1999. Also, the results will be submitted for publication to the journal-Tectonophysics.
