Recent News

  • September 2017: Shannon Johnson and Colton Lynn presented portions of their thesis research at the 30th annual Missouri Herpetological Association meeting.
  • June 2017: The lab attended the Animal Behavior Society meeting in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We presented three talks and a poster presentation abroad, and had a great time outside the US.
  • April 2017: Congratulations to Katy Gardner and Kenzie Medley for taking first and second place in undergraduate research day! Colton Lynn represented the Mathis lab at the graduate-level Interdisciplinary Forum.

  • August 2016: We have two new graduate students joining us this fall. Colton Lynn is continuing conducted undergraduate research in our lab here at MSU. Shannon Johnson comes to us from the University of Central Missouri. Welcome Shannon and Colton!
  • June 2016: The Mathis Lab attended the Animal Behavior Society meeting at Columbia, MO. We had two presentations and two posters representing our lab! Good work all!
