The Missouri State University Poll Research Center uses a professionally trained research staff to conduct its CATI (phone based) research using landline and cell phone contacts through the Center for Social Science and Public Policy Research on the campus of Missouri State University. The Center also conducts Internet, focus group, and mail-based research on questions of political and social interest. The Center is supported, in part, through the College of Humanities and Public Affairs, the Department of Political Science, and the Office of Citizenship and Service-Learning.
Established in 2009, the Center helps fulfill Missouri State's mission as the Show Me State's public affairs university. Reporting on a variety of community, social, and political concerns of interest to both Missourians and Americans, the Missouri State University Poll Research Center partners with non-profit, community, business, and media outlets to collect information of public interest and for the public good. To date, the Center has conducted research for clients at KOLR 10 and KSN-TV, The Foundation for Springfield Public Schools, Missouri State University, American University, Denison University, Calvin College, the Homeless Task Force of Springfield, the Missouri Disabilities Planning Council, and KY3-TV.
The Center's research is non-partisan, and works "at cost" for its partners. For more information about the Center and its services, please contact the director: Dr. Brian Calfano, Department of Political Science, Missouri State University, 901 South National Avenue, Springfield, MO 65897, (417) 836-8574, firstname.lastname@example.org
