Recall that when light is reflected off a mirrored surface, the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection. For example, the figure below shows a beam of light reflected four times off of two mirrored surfaces placed at an angle to one another.

  1. What is the maximum number of reflections possible if the surfaces are placed at an angle of 20 degrees to one another?
  2. 25 degrees?
  3. x degrees?
