Problem #181


A goat is tethered to the middle of one side of a building that is 10 meters by 10 meters. If the length of the tether is x, 0 ≤ x ≤ 25, express the area that the goat can graze as a function of x. Note that this will be a piecewise defined function. For example, when x = 10, the region that the goat can graze is the shaded region below.
