Brian Patrick Morton was born on February 18, 1973 in Kirkland, Washington.  He grew up in Columbia, Missouri, where he graduated from Hickman High School in 1991.  In May 1995 he received a Bachelor's degree with majors in Philosophy and Mathematics from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) in Kirksville, Missouri.  In 2001, Brian married Robyn Reed in St. Louis, Missouri.  On February 22, 2002, their first son Alexander Reed Morton was born.  In May, 2003 Brian received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Indiana University in Bloomington.  On December 24, 2004, their second son Ian Patrick Morton was born.  Brian is currently Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Indiana State University.
